How long does it take for funds to settle from Karbon to my Indian bank account?
Settlement timelines depend on when your transfer request is initiated relative to the forex cut-off time:
Transfers initiated before 3:00 PM IST (Forex Cut-off Time)
If your transfer request is submitted and processed before 3:00 PM on a working day, the funds are typically settled into your registered Indian bank account the same day, usually by end of business day (EOD). Transfers initiated after 3:00 PM IST
Requests made after the 3:00 PM cut-off are processed on the next working day, with funds credited by EOD of that day.
When will my payment reflect in the Karbon account (e.g., via Fedwire, ACH)?
Fedwire (U.S. Domestic Transfers)
Typically credited within 0–1 business days. In most cases, payments sent before the cut-off time arrive on the same day.
ACH (Automated Clearing House – U.S.)
Usually credited within 2–3 business days, as ACH transfers are processed in batches.
SWIFT (International Wire Transfer)
Generally takes 1–3 business days, depending on the originating bank and intermediary bank processing times.
SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area – Europe)
Typically credited within 0–1 business days, provided the payment is sent before the sending bank’s cut-off time. Important :
Timelines exclude weekends and bank/public holidays in the sending country.
Delays may occur due to compliance checks, incomplete payment details, or intermediary bank processing.
