This Key Fact Statement provides you with important information and should be read in conjunction with SBM Bank’s Terms and Conditions as communicated at https://www.sbmbank.co.in/smart_banking/pdf/TC_Karbon_SBM_Bank_New.pdf. In the event of a conflict between the information provided in this document and SBM Bank’s General Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail.

SBM reserves the right to change Terms & Conditions and/or Interest, Fees and Charges at any point with 60 days prior notice.

Billing Disputes Resolution

In the event the Cardholder disagrees with the charges indicated in the statement, it should be communicated in writing to the correspondence address of SBM Bank within 30(thirty) days of receipt of the statement, failing which it would be construed that all charges indicated in the statement are in order.

The above-mentioned fees and charges and other charges to be imposed in the future (if any) are subject to variations or amendments at SBM’s discretion from time to time. Such variations or amendments will be notified by SBM to the Cardholder in any manner SBM deems fit and will thereafter be effective.


NOTE:
** Illustration on Interest Free (grace) period
 Interest free period will not be available if you have not paid the previous month’s outstanding amount in entirety. Interest free period from the start of the billing cycle date shall not exceed 45 Days. Payment Due Date on your Card is 15 days after the Statement Date (Please check your statement for your exact Payment Due Date). Therefore, the free credit period can range from 30-45 days depending on your Payment Date.


Illustrative Example for Interest Free Period Calculation:
For a statement for the period 09th April to 08th May, the payment due date is 22th May. Assuming you have paid Your previous month's dues in full, the interest free period would be: For the purchase dated 15th April interest free grace period is from 8th May to 22nd May = 15 days and for the purchase dated 2nd May, interest free grace period is from 8th May to 22nd May = 15 days.


BILLING STATEMENT: Your billing statement will be generated on a monthly basis. It will contain the break-up of all purchases, repayments, fees, interest charges, refunds and taxes. In case if the card was not used in a particular month, the statement will mention that there were no spends in that month. Mode of sending statement: The billing statement will be shared over email, on a monthly basis to you, and will also be available on your Karbon Dashboard.

CREDIT LIMIT: You will be provided with a Credit Limit at the time of opening your credit card. The Credit Limit is reviewed and may be revised from time to time at the sole discretion of the bank. Transactions above the Credit Limit may be declined or incur an Over Limit Fee, as applicable. Final issuance of the Credit Card is subject to SBM Bank’s discretion and its receipt of all documents and requirements requested in form and substance satisfactory to SBM. You may be requested to provide additional documents at any time during the application process.

Standing Instruction: You will be required to furnish Standing Instructions as required by the Bank from time to time. You shall at all times maintain sufficient funds to repay your outstanding amount, in the event you wish to make a repayment through any other mode, you may use the options mentioned above in the Method of payment.

Card Activation: You will be required to activate your card within 30 days of issuance of the card, activation post 30 days shall require you to provide an additional OTP based consent. Upon non-activation, the Bank shall close the credit card account within 7 working days from the date of your consent, however you are not required to pay any additional charges in such cases.
